Menopause Health Engineering

Unraveling the science of menopause

Education

Cornell’s Menopause Health Engineering initiative embeds menopause-focused projects into student courses, clinical immersions, and fellowships to train future leaders in women’s health. Students apply advanced tools—such as imaging, tissue engineering, and computational modeling—to explore how menopause affects multiple systems of the body. By combining engineering, biomedical science, and clinical insights, the program addresses gaps in traditional education and drives innovation in diagnostics, therapies, and health strategies tailored to women’s life-stage transitions.
